How do I know if my subcontractors viewed the documents?

ONETEAM enables you to produce a “Plan Room Activity” report that identifies the subcontractors that entered your project’s plan room, the files they viewed and downloaded, and their last visit date. This information will give you confidence on bid day that your invited subcontractors have all the files they need to provide a quality bid.

How does my company subscribe to ONETEAM?

You can get your free oneteam account setup by calling into 855-805-2560 or emailing info@oneteam.build. Unlike oneteam's competitors, oneteam allows you to have unlimited users, unlimited projects and unlimited support, all for free!

Is there an extra fee for ONETEAM training and support?

No, ONETEAM is absolutely free, and this includes any training & support that is needed while using the product

What kind of reports can I produce in ONETEAM?

You can produce a “Contact” report to view your entire list of invited subcontractors. The report provides the subcontractors’ contact information and their project status – Reviewing, Bidding, or Not Bidding. You can produce a “Plan Room Activity” report that identifies the subcontractors that entered your project’s plan room, the files they viewed and downloaded, and their last visit date. You can also produce an M.W.B.E. report to validate your effort to satisfy the project’s goals.

Can ONETEAM help me find “Minority” contractors for my projects?

If your project has specified goals, ONETEAM can search The Blue Book Network for M.W.B.E. subcontractors by classification. Subcontractors can identify any minority designation on their ProView – such as Minority, Women, Small, Local, Disadvantaged, and/or Veteran Business Owned Enterprises – which can be found using “BlueSearch”.

Can I promote my projects in The Blue Book Network to expand my coverage?

Although it’s better to message targeted bid invitations to qualified subcontractors, ONETEAM enables you to promote your projects to Blue Book Network vendors in your project’s specified trade categories. Those vendors can apply filters on their side to find projects that they are qualified to bid.

Can multiple estimators be assigned to one project in ONETEAM?

Through its “Team Member” functionality, ONETEAM enables you to add multiple estimators, or any internal employees, to a project. Their privileges let them add project files and communicate with invited subcontractors.

What is ONETEAM’s “Activity Stream”?

The “Activity Stream” is ONETEAM’s exciting social-like communication platform. From within their private portal, your subcontractors can conduct a private, secure, threaded conversation with you to ask questions, express concerns, and propose product equivalents – even upload their bid. You can also use the “Activity Stream” to post general information to all of your invited subcontractors.

Does The Blue Book Network follow-up on my “Invitation to Bid” emails that fail?

If any of your bid invitation emails fail, The Blue Book Network will follow-up with that subcontractor the next business day to correct the failure and resend the message.

Does ONETEAM enable me to customize my “Invitation to Bid”?

When creating your “Invitation to Bid”, you can use an editor to highlight specific project information – bold, italicize, underline, change font color, etc. – to get your subcontractors’ attention. You can also include the project’s image – franchise logo or rendering – to further engage them. To introduce your company to new subcontractors, your company’s logo links to your “ProView” qualifications, which makes subcontractors that don’t know your company more comfortable to respond.

What is ONETEAM?

ONETEAM is The Blue Book Network’s next generation bid management and collaboration system that was designed to help General Contractors communicate project information and share documents more effectively with their private subcontractors and, when needed, members in The Blue Book Network.

Is there an extra charge for the plan room service that ONETEAM provides?

No, the plan room labeling service is free of charge as a oneteam user.

Can I share my project’s documents in ONETEAM?

You can quickly and easily “drag and drop” or upload files – plans, specifications, and addendums – into your project’s private plan room, which are activated immediately for “Invitation to Bid” messaging.

Does The Blue Book Network provide any qualification information on my private subcontractors?

If your subcontractor maintains a “ProView” in The Blue Book Network, you can search on qualification information that they have provided such as Trades and Scope of Services, Project Specialization, Geographic Service Areas, Labor Affiliation, Manufacturer Brands, Licenses, and much more.

How do I get my subcontractors uploaded in ONETEAM?

Send us your private vendor list in any format – digital or paper – and in any condition. However, the quickest way to get your private vendors uploaded is to send us the list in an excel or .csv file and include the following information:

  • • Company Name
  • • Contact Name
  • • City, State, and Zip Code
  • • Phone Number
  • • Email Address
  • • Trades Performed
  • • Rank (Optional)

Upon uploading, if your vendors are missing email addresses or additional trades that The Blue Book Network has qualified them for in our network, we can add that information.

If I upload my subcontractors in ONETEAM are they added to The Blue Book Network?

The Blue Book Network respects the privacy and security of your private vendors. We will not add any of your vendors to our database. However, since The Blue Book Network has been around for over 100 years, we typically have a high percentage of the GC’s private vendors already listed in our network.

Is ONETEAM accessible on mobile devices?

Your ONETEAM website was designed to be mobile-friendly so your subcontractors don’t have to download or update any apps. They can use their smartphone or tablet to easily receive and review your “Invitation to Bid” email (and subsequent messages) and communicate from their private portal.

Can I access The Blue Book Network to find subcontractors?

Within ONETEAM, you have seamless access to over 400,000 qualified vendors listed in The Blue Book Network’s national network of subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers. You can use “BlueSearch”, The Blue Book Network’s powerful search engine, to search vendors’ “ProView” qualification information or you can use the “Vendor Wizard” to conduct proximity searches.

Do my subcontractors have to pay to use ONETEAM?

There is no charge for your subcontractors to receive your bid invitations, access their private portal to view and download plans and specs, communicate on the “Activity Stream”, or upload their bid.
